EYEBROW TATTOO AFTERCARE

THE EYEBROW TATTOO HEALING PROCESS

The healing process following an Eyebrow Tattoo procedure is one amazing Scientific journey. This eyebrow tattoo healing chart sums up what to expect in the days to come, sometimes less, other times, slightly more dramatic. This all depends on your skin type, sweat factor, skincare products used, and if the aftercare instructions are correctly followed.

Our Aftercare instructions have been studied, tried, tested and approved, and are found to give the best healed results for our clients. Cosmetic Tattoo procedures are expensive investments, and should be treated correctly through post care.

As shown in this chart, amazing changes will take place, the healing process can take up to 4 weeks for the final healed result to show, at which time, further improvement and refining can be added at a touch up.

THE 3 COMMON FREAK OUTS POST EYEBROW MICROBLADING TATTOO

The 3 most common f"freak-outs" a new client experiences following an eyebrow Microblading, or other forms of eyebrow tattoo treatments are consistently:

  • My eyebrow Microblading tattoos are dark or thick
  • My eyebrow tattoos are scabbing and peeling
  • I can't see my eyebrow Microblading tattoos

The day of, and a couple of days following an eyebrow microblading or brow tattoo procedure, your brows may appear a lot thicker and darker to you. There are a number of factors which make them appear this way, mainly due to the build-up and drying process of the lymph nodes post procedure. Rest assured both the thickness and darkness of your brow tattoos will subside in the coming days.

The fading, and loss of tattooed hair strokes during the healing process is not just common, it is expected. Don't be alarmed, your tattoos are still there, beneath the transparent new skin forming following the procedure. They will appear once again during week 2 or a later part of your healing process.

  • Day 1-5 - NO makeup directly on your eyebrow tattoos
  • Day 1-5 NO work out or activities that involve excessive sweating
  • Day 1-14 - DO NOT directly wash your eyebrow tattoos, showers are fine but don't make a point to wash them and always blot dry when wet

EYELINER TATTOO AFTERCARE

WHAT YOU MUST KNOW POST EYELINER TATTOO TREATMENT

The area on your eyelids and around your eyes may feel a little tender within the first 48 hours. Some may experience a little redness on the eyelids too, which generally will disappear within a few hours or so.

It is extremely important that you remember not touch, scrub, scratch or pick at your eyes for 24 hours post eyeliner tattooing. This is because the inside of your eyes may still be numb from the Anaesthetics, which means that you won't be able to feel if you have torn the delicate corneal areas within.

Fresh eyeliner tattoo will appear a lot darker and thicker than the final healed results, which takes place at between 6-8 weeks time. This is due to a 3 main reasons, the slight post treatment swelling, the Anaesthetics used during the treatment, and the fact that all cosmetic tattoo will shrink in size and fade in colour during the healing process.

LIP TATTOO AFTERCARE

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOLLOWING A LIP TATTOO TREATMENT

Following a lip tattooing treatment, your lips may appear larger, poutier than you may be used to. While some clients love this, others may be a little worried. This is to expected, but both the size and color of your freshly tattooed lips will subside over the next couple of days.

Through the healing process, the color of newly tattooed lips can fade at approximately 40-50% the original color. During the first couple of days and possibly the first week post treatment, the color will become quite faint, however, the color will continue to return slow, and up to 3 months in some cases.

It is really important that our Lip Tattoo aftercare instructions are followed diligently for best healed and long lasting results.

High Melanin lip tattoo treatments - for darker lips, your course of lip tattoo lightening treatment may take between 2-3 sessions to achieve a desired lightened result. non-laser removal aftercare

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOLLOWING A NON-LASER COSMETIC TATTOO REMOVAL SESSION

You would have been very happy during, and right after your non-laser, cosmetic tattoo removal with us as the difference in the before and after results are quite dramatic. It is important to note that during the next day or so, you may feel a little disheartened as the color of your tattoo within the treated areas may become "darker" than when freshly treated. This is simply because the lymph and fluid from the treatment are starting to dry up, causing the "darker color" appearance in the treated areas.

From around day 4-6, dramatic lightening and fading can be expected, which will continue for the next 6-8 weeks. Keep following through with our aftercare instructions below for best results.
